As hopeful mothers to be, we often forget that we need to make sure that we too, are a priority. Family, work responsibilities and other realities of “life” often take first precedence, so making time to take care of our emotional, mental and physical wellbeing is paramount. Making positive changes to your diet, exercise habits and sleep habits, while devoting some time to enjoyable activities such as hobbies, and social outings, can help ensure you live a more balance life, which can ultimately lead to less stress. Taking some extra time for yourself to relax, and manage stress levels can actually be extremely helpful when dealing with issues related to infertility. Since stress can have a negative impact on fertility, leading a less stressful life, may, in some ways be helpful when trying to achieve a successful pregnancy.
